He is the God of Consistency

January 30th, 2026

Sometimes life can feel like a roller coaster ride. We have ups and downs and the occasional loopdy- loop. We’re currently adjusting to life with a new baby while potty training our toddler. Some days are really good and other days we’re cleaning pee off the floor while both children are crying. One thing that we’ve learned from parenting is that the mood of your children often determines what kind of day you’ll have. Thankfully, this is not the case with us in our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Although our moods and emotions are ever changing, we serve a God that never changes.

“I the Lord do not change….”

Malachi 3:6 NIV

Our relationship with God doesn’t need to feel like a roller coaster ride. In our highs and in our lows, He remains with us. We serve a God who is our solid rock, our firm foundation. Although our circumstances, surroundings, relationships, etc. change; the God we serve never will. He is consistent. He consistently answers prayers, meets our needs, leads and guides us, shows grace and mercy, and grants us peace. We’ve seen time and time again that if we consistently keep our eyes on Jesus, the rest falls into place.

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
John 15:4

What We’ve Been Up To?

Personal Life

  1. On September 1st, 2025, our son, Silas, was born here in Rome. We spent months preparing for his arrival and were greeted by the sweetest little boy we could have ever imagined.
  2. We Hosted Thanksgiving in our home! We had a small gathering with some friends that have become like family. We had a bunch of incredible food, and even were able to find a huge turkey that had stuffing inside of it!
  3. We shared a Christmas Party with our Ministry Leaders! It was a time of Fun, Fellowship, and shared joy of what the Lord had done throughout 2025.
  4. We experienced a true Italian Christmas! We were invited by the salon owner that has a shop right next to the church to come and celebrate Christmas with his family. We had an amazing time with a 4 course meal! That’s right, 4 separate courses of food. We played games, laughed, and Saige even learned a dance song… Which she still insists we play almost every day. We had a fantastic time and made some life long friends.

Ministry

Over the past months, we have seen God do some incredible things in Ministry! We have had several amazing Events & Services, I’ve listed some below.

  1. Kids Camp
  2. Missions Sunday
  3. Italy Missionary Retreat in Naples
  4. Christmas Gala, Extravaganza and Candlelight Service
  5. Week of Prayer, 2026 Prayer Service

We also had the opportunity to host a missions team from Croatia and a Missionary Intern. God has been so good. We have seen testimony after testimony of how the Lord has moved in the lives of those we get to minister to week in and week out.

Testimonies

We have seen testimonies of folks we have helped receive expedited medical care. We have seen healings take place in peoples live and relationships. The Lord has been answering prayers in and amongst our church. We have been giving 1st Bibles away to people every month. We have seen people making the best decision of their lives through Salvation. God has been so good.
